Autumn Maintenance at Woodside Road
The club is holding a maintenance day at the Bibby Financial Services Stadium this coming Sunday in anticipation of a imminent return to hosting first team fixtures at the ground.
Having not played a fixture at our home ground all season due to ongoing issues with the artificial surface at Woodside Road, results of a FIFA test are expected early next week to determine whether or not we’ll permitted to return.
In anticipation of a positive result, chairman George Dowell has released the following information about the maintenance day planned this weekend, urging supporters to get involved.
George Dowell statement:
We have everything crossed for Monday’s verdict and the long awaited return to the Bibby Financial Services Stadium. We are urging supporters to come along to the ground on Sunday to assist in the tidying and general maintenance of the ground.
We will be here from 11am to 3pm with hot drinks and bacon sandwiches provided for all who volunteer. We also ask anyone that would like to help to bring any tools or equipment that they think may help, including brooms, petrol trimmers, secateurs, loping sheers, buckets, clothes, anything!
Hope to see as many of you as possible on Sunday.
