Under-18’s hit South Park for six

Worthing Under 18’s kept up their hunt for a top 3 finish after an emphatic 6-0 win over lowly South Park at the Bibby Financial Services Stadium last night.

The young Mackerel Men raced into a 5-0 lead by half time with the goals coming in two first half spells. Callum Chambers opened the scoring in the 15th minute for Worthing and within three minutes, Worthing were out of sight with goals from, firstly Matt Boiling on 17 minutes and Haydon Skerry on 18 minutes.

Boiling was the first to complete his brace in the 34th minute, the first of two goals in an 11 minute spell before half time, followed by Skerry three minutes before half time.

Despite the one way traffic, Worthing added just a solitary goal in the second half as Chalmers also completed his brace and kept the pressure on the top two, Lewes and Whitehawk, at the top of the table.
