Budd was subbed off through injury in the early stages of the second half following a 50/50 challenge. Both players went in wholeheartedly but unfortunately Darren Budd was left clutching his right foot. It is currently unclear how long he will be absent for at this early stage.

News of the Club captain’s injury compounds an already disappointing day. His experience would’ve been crucial in lifting heads and rallying around the younger members of the squad.
