Youth Teams
The ethos and ambition of Worthing Football Club is to create an accessible pathway from our youth teams all the way to our senior squads.
Following on from our successful Development Centre Programme (for U8 – U13), in September 2018 we added to the Worthing FC Youth structure by launching the U14, U15 and U16’s youth teams. This was the next progressive step for our talented young players to move up the pathway into our First Team.
The whole ethos and ambition of Worthing FC is to create a pathway and give opportunity to talent in the local area. With the hope they can progress, firstly into our Under 18’s, then into our First Team and potentially higher into the football league.
We are very proud to say we have had many examples of players moving on up the footballing ladder in recent years.

To progress with this ambition we have structured our youth set up with two 1.5 hour training sessions a week, coached by our First Team management and coaching staff all of which and UEFA qualified coaches. We feel this will help our youth teams play the Worthing way and make the transition from youth football into 18’s/First Team football a smoother one, giving them the best possible chance to succeed.

UEFA B Licence
Under-14
The Under-14s play in the Mid Sussex Youth League Division One.
Under-15
The Under-15s play in the Mid Sussex Youth League Division One.
Under-16
The Under-16s play in the Mid Sussex Youth League Division One.
Under-17
The Under-17s play in the Southern Combination Under-18 League, West Division.
Under-18
The under-18s play in the Isthmian Youth League South Division, midweek matches.
