The Mackerels are on a run of two wins in a row with two clean sheets, having most recently beaten Margate 2-0 in Kent last weekend.
They also managed to reach the fourth qualifying round of the competition last season, before Ebbsfleet United of the National League denied them what would have been a place in the first round proper for the first time in 20 years.
Meanwhile the U’s, made up of a team which includes former Worthing front man Ben Pope, are currently unbeaten in their BetVictor South East league campaign, having also beaten Broadbridge Heath 2-1 in the FA Cup Preliminary round to set the tie up at The Pilot Field tomorrow – thanks to a brace from Pope.
The last time the two sides met in December 2015 in the Sussex County Cup third round, where Lloyd Dawes scored twice to give Worthing a 2-0 win at Woodside Road.
