Despite coming close to a cup exit, Worthing dominated large chunks of the game at Clarence Park against opposition of the National League south, and boss Adam Hinshelwood thinks the togetherness his side displayed gives them every chance of progressing to the next stage of the competition tonight.

“You can’t fault the boys’ effort and desire on Saturday to keep on going, as a group we don’t give up, even with ten men I thought we were the better team on the day.”

“We know we have to find the same level tonight which is going to be difficult against a team a league above, but we’ve had a really important recovery period and now we’re ready to go.”
