1. While still known as Mill Lane Mission, they entered their first league – the Croydon & District (starting in Divison Two A.) – in 1906.

2. As Carshalton Athletic for the first time, they enjoyed almost immediate success, being promoted three years in a row from 1908-1910.

3. Floodlights were erected in 1967, during a seventeen year spell as members of the Athenian League.

4. A first Surrey Senior Cup finally arrived in 1989, heralding a run of triumphs that ended with three in four years, in 1992.

5. The town was once known by the name ‘Aultone’ and registered as such in the Domesday Book of 1086.
