The Mackerels made it three wins from their last five having won away to Merstham on Tuesday night, and Hinshelwood says his squad is looking healthy despite a few minor niggles,
“We’ve had a couple of knocks from Tuesday and in training last night but we’ve still got a good squad to choose from, there might be some players that are disappointed not to be in the squad but we have a big month ahead with lots of games so we’ll definitely be utilising the squad as we go on.”
Having only lost one match from their last nine in all competitions, Hinshelwood believes his side’s current run of form will give them plenty of confidence against the Essex side who were relegated from The National League South last season,
“They’re a side that will definitely bring a challenge to us having the experience of players who played in a higher league last season, we know we’ll have to be at our best to get a result just like every game.”
The Rocks (not to be confused with Bognor) currently occupy 6th position, above Worthing on goal difference having played two games more.
Boss Hinsh is aware of challenge they will bring to the table, but also indeed the opportunity to leap-frog them into the playoff places,
“Our performances of late have been relatively good, we’ve won our last two games so to win three games in a league like this on the bounce would be quite an achievement.
“We can’t be complacent against the side we’re up against but we’ll definitely be going into it with confidence after the performance and result at Merstham.”
