As we prepare to approach the worst of the virus outbreak, Worthing Football Club has had to make the decision to close its doors for now.

This includes the stadium, surrounding facilities, and Woodside Bar. All of these will be closed to the public until further notice.

The Isthmian League has joined the rest of the country in suspending all games until April 3rd, however we note that it is very unlikely we will see any games played for quite some time.

At this time the safety of our fans, players and staff is of paramount importance. We will take any step we can to help slow the spread of the virus.

It is of course frustrating to have so much uncertainty surrounding a season that was going so well for us, but safety is our #1 concern.

We would like all of our supporters, and indeed anyone reading this, to stay safe and remain cautious. Listen to the government updates, follow NHS advice, wash your hands regularly and limit social contact to a minimum.

We will be back, and we can’t wait to see you all again on the other side of this. The first day back at The Crucial Environmental Stadium will be quite some party.
