Following the works completion on the new pitch at The Crucial Environmental Stadium, we can confirm that it has received its full FIFA Pro Quality accreditation and is ready and fully fit for purpose.

The works included correcting some areas of the sub base and capping the whole surface with a laser levelled tarmacadam layer to provide stability, uniformity and FIFA standard levels. Over this a brand new 3G all weather carpet has been laid.

This comes as part of a substantial upgrade to the Crucial Environmental Stadium, triggered by the fantastic “Future’s Bright” campaign over the summer of 2020, supported by our local community.

The club has invested almost £500,000, raised through grants and community fundraising. The end result being a new, fit for purpose stadium featuring a brand new state of the art floodlight system, a new North East corner to enable match day crowd segregation with a new turnstile entrance and refreshment/toilet block, upgraded changing rooms and of course a brand new all weather pitch.

Add to that a 3 year extension to Adam Hinshelwood’s contract, we would say the club is ready and waiting for the start of a new campaign.
