The fixture rounds off a largely successful period for the Reds most recently defeating Lancing 2-0 at home on Saturday:
Second half goals from Ollie Pearce and Reece Meekums saw off the Lancers, earning the Mackerel Men their eighth victory out of a possible nine since the campaign commenced.
Despite the good form, however, Worthing head into the Isthmian League season without the services of midfielder Ricky Aguiar, who penned a contract with EFL League Two side Swindon Town, having also recently trialled with Wycombe Wanderers last month.
Alike to Worthing, The R’s have also had a hectic pre-season campaign, with their u23s side losing 4-1 to the Red’s Sussex rivals Eastbourne Borough in their last run-out.
The first team drew 1-1 with Millwall in their opening game of their EFL Championship season at Loftus Road on Saturday.
