The fixture is to be Worthing’s first in 11 days, after Hornchurch’s FA Cup progression meant the Reds’ planned fixture in Essex last Saturday was postponed until 5th October:
Goals from Dean Cox, Ollie Pearce, Reece Meekums and Mo Diallo helped Worthing to a dominating 4-0 victory away to strugglers Leatherhead in their last outing, moving to 5th in the table.
Meanwhile, visitors Corinthian-Casuals also enjoyed success against the Tanners in their most recent fixtures, winning 3-0 on Tuesday night in the FA Cup second qualifying round.
The two sides have already faced each other twice within the first month of the campaign:
Drawn against one-another in the FA Cup first qualifying round, they played out a 1-1 draw, with Diallo cancelling out a Ben Cheklit opener setting up a replay at King George’s Field, which Casuals won by three goals to one.
Please note parking at Worthing High School is no longer available, however the limited spaces at the Queen Street car park remain in use.
Woodside Bar will be showing live coverage of both Premier League games tomorrow, before and after the match.
12.30pm: Chelsea vs Manchester City
17.30pm: Brentford vs Liverpool
Tickets are still available to purchase in advance or on the day. The turnstiles will be accepting cash and card payments.
Admission is £12 for adults, £8 for concessions, £3 for 13-16 year-old, £1 for 6-12 year-old while those under 6 are free.
Prior to kick off, there will be a minute-long applause for the tragic passing of club legend Steve Hoare – a loveable Woodside icon who sadly lost his life earlier this week.
