The Reds go into the fixture second in the table and narrowly missed out on topping the division last weekend, drawing 2-2 away to current league leaders Enfield Town.

Meanwhile, visitors Lewes have also enjoyed a good start to their league campaign, currently sitting in fourth place having beaten strugglers Leatherhead 5-0 at the Dripping Pan 11 days ago.

Recent Meetings

The two sides have served supporters up enthralling encounters in recent times, including two 4-3 thrillers in the 2018/19 season, with one victory apiece for either team.

The most recent meeting between the two sides, however, was during the short-lived 2020-21 season:

A Dajon Golding brace against his former club and an own-goal heavily-caused by a fantastic Reece Meekums dribble helped Worthing to a 3-1 victory against a 10-man Lewes side at the Dripping Pan.
