The home fixture comes off the back of a successful week on the road for the Reds:

Last Saturday, they progressed to the fourth round of the FA Trophy beating Chertsey Town 2-0, before extending their lead at the top of the table to five points with a 3-1 midweek win away to Wingate & Finchley.

Meanwhile, visitors Potters Bar have enjoyed a good start to their Isthmian league season, currently occupying 10th place five points outside the playoffs and, like Worthing, reached the fourth round of the FA Trophy on Saturday with a 2-0 win against Haringey Borough.

This afternoon’s fixture may also see return to Woodside of a recently-departed Mackerel Man:

Former defender Alfie Young racked up over 100 appearances in red before his move to Bar last month and has been part of clean-sheet-winning defences in his opening two fixtures for his new club.

Recent Meetings

The most recent meeting between the two sides came in the short-lived campaign of last season in Hertfordshire:

A goal from Ken Charles in the 28th minute put Potters Bar 1-0 up up half time, before a brace from Omar Koroma in the second half turned the game on its head to give Worthing all three points.

Team News

Marvin Armstrong still a doubt with a lingering Hamstring problem. Luca Cocoracchio and Joel Colbran are both back available for selection.

Supporter Information

Please note parking at Worthing High School is no longer available, however the limited spaces at the Queen Street car park remain in use.

In an attempt to speed up the queues at the turnstiles, there will be a dedicated queue for Season Ticket Holders & prepaid tickets from 2pm on Saturdays (or 7pm on Tuesdays) for every home game, so for anyone who cannot make it to the ground early, they can avoid the cash and card payment queues and get into the stadium more quickly.

So if thats you, head towards the left of the three original turnstiles on the east side of the ground and we will let you in through the side gate.

We’d still advise arriving in good time!

PLEASE NOTE: When buying your online tickets you will receive two emails.
1. Purchase confirmation email
2. Email with your QR coded ticket(s) attached.
We need to scan the QR codes on the tickets at the turnstile, so in the unlikely event that you don’t find an email with a ticket attachment or you are having issues opening the attachment on your phone, please contact dave@worthingfc.com to get the tickets re-emailed. Thank you.

Tickets are still available to purchase in advance online or on the day. The turnstiles will be accepting cash and card payments.
