Worthing FC (then ladies) formed in the 2016/7 season and were crowned south east counties division one west winners at their first attempt.

Having gained promotion there was a change in management team for the 2017/18 season. The 2017/18 and 2018/19 seasons saw 2 mid table finishes.

2019/20 was the turning point. Worthing FC Ladies became Worthing FC Women. With 4 games to spare the women secured promotion into the Premier Division only for the season to be declared null and void due to Covid. The chance for promotion was again take from us in 2020/21 with a second Covid curtailed season.

The hard work on and off the pitch and the teams growing stature was however recognised as the club successfully gained promotion through application into the London and South East Regional Premier Division for current 2021/22 season.

This is the team’s first season competing in tier 5 of the women’s game with aspirations to continue climb up the football pyramid.

Responsibilities

To oversee planning and delivery of administration, communication and operations for Women’s First Team for all match day home and away fixtures
To develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
To represent Worthing FC in a professional manner at all times
To line manage the volunteers supporting on match days.
