The fixture comes after Adam Hishelwood’s side made a positive start to December by overcoming Cray Wanderers 2-0 at the Crucial Environmental Stadium on Saturday.

First half goals from Ollie Pearce and Danny Barker saw the Reds cruise to victory, while Enfield’s home loss to Folkestone Invicta meant the lead at the top was extended to five points.

Borough are currently 16th in the table and were most recently held to a 3-3 draw at home to Bognor Regis Town on Saturday. Despite leading 3-2 late on, former Worthing man James Crane equalised for the Rocks with two minutes to play.

They also defeated EFL League One side AFC Wimbledon in the first round of the London Cup last week, winning 5-4 in a penalty shootout after a 1-1 draw.

Team news

Callum Kealy who re-signed for the club from Dorking Wanderers on a two-month loan deal last week and played the final twenty minutes of Saturday’s win over Cray Wanderers will be pushing for a place in the starting eleven, while Hinshelwood may still be without fellow front man Mo Diallo and Jasper Pattenden.

Recent meetings

The two sides last met in November of the voided season of 2019-20 at Coles Park. Worthing took the league twice with goals from Dylan Jelley and Jesse Starkey, however Haringey replied on both occasions to earn a 2-2 draw.
