The Reds go into the fixture having had the best possible week so far – progressing to the semi-final of the Sussex Senior Cup with a 2-0 victory over Bognor Regis Town on Tuesday evening:

Goals from Will Seager and Jasper Pattenden at the end of either half saw them defeat the Rocks for the second time at Nyewood Lane in the space of a month.

Meanwhile, playoff-chasing visitors Hornchurch are unbeaten in 2022 thus far, sitting seventh in the table most recently beating Margate 3-0 away last weekend.

Recent meetings

The two sides played the reverse fixture back in November in Essex:

Charlie Stimson opened the scoring in the 25th minute to put Hornchurch 1-0 up, but it was a lead which only lasted five minutes before Aarran Racine equalised on the half-hour mark.

Ollie Pearce turned the game on its head in the 56th minute converting a penalty won by himself, before Joel Colbran netted with a header 11 minutes from time to seal all three points.

Supporter information

Please note parking at Worthing High School is no longer available, however the limited spaces at the Queen Street car park remain in use.

In an attempt to speed up the queues at the turnstiles, there will be a dedicated queue for Season Ticket Holders & prepaid tickets from 2pm on Saturdays (or 7pm on Tuesdays) for every home game, so for anyone who cannot make it to the ground early, they can avoid the cash and card payment queues and get into the stadium more quickly.

So if that’s you, head towards the left of the three original turnstiles on the east side of the ground and we will let you in through the side gate.

We’d still advise arriving in good time!

PLEASE NOTE: When buying your online tickets you will receive two emails.
1. Purchase confirmation email
2. Email with your QR coded ticket(s) attached.
We need to scan the QR codes on the tickets at the turnstile, so in the unlikely event that you don’t find an email with a ticket attachment or you are having issues opening the attachment on your phone, please contact dave@worthingfc.com to get the tickets re-emailed. Thank you.

Tickets are still available to purchase in advance online or on the day. The turnstiles will be accepting cash and card payments.
