Last weekend Worthing maintain their two-point lead at the top of the table with an emphatic win over Wingate & Finchley by six goals to nil:
A hat-trick from Ollie Pearce was doubled by goals from Aarran Racine, Callum Kealy and Jasper Pattenden to see the Reds past the 70-goal mark this campaign.
Meanwhile, Merstham fell to a 3-0 defeat away to strugglers Cray Wanderers on Saturday, although still remain 12 points above the relegation zone.
Recent meetings
The two sides met in reverse fixture back in October this season:
John Ufuah’s strike in the 37th minute put the Moatsiders 1-0 up at the break, but goals from Reece Meekums and Pearce in the second period turned the game on its head to give Worthing all three points in front of a 1,000-plus midweek crowd.
