Rodari Makes Temporary Switch

Worthing Football Club can confirm the signing of Davide Rodari on loan from Crawley Town until the end of the season.

The 22-year-old joined the League Two outfit during the 2021 January transfer window from fellow Sussex side Hastings United.

First team opportunities have been hard to come by however with just 30 minutes of League Town action all season, he arrives at the Crucial Environmental Stadium hungry to kick-start his career by helping the Rebel’s promotion push.

The striker who was born in Switzerland is of Dutch and Italian descent but grew up in Novara, Italy. He moved to England in 2016 and played youth football for Easbourne Borough before signing for Hastings in 2017.

He caught the eye during a four year spell at the Pilot Field, famously scored eight times for the U’s in a League Cup hammering of East Grinstead Town in November 2019.

Worthing boss Adam Hinshelwood worked with Rodari during his time as Hastings United boss and is looking forward to working with him again.

“He has a great attitude and will work his socks off for us and will give us real competition for places at the top end of the pitch”.
