3-0

The fixture comes three days after Worthing maintained their 13-point lead from their opponents with a 2-0 home victory over Margate at the Crucial Environmental Stadium on Saturday:

After a goalless first half, strikes from Ollie Pearce and Dajon Golding handed the Reds a 2-0 win against a 10-man Margate side to ensure Bishop’s Sortford’s 6-0 victory against Merstham gained them no ground.

Recent meetings

The two sides met in October in the reverse league fixture at Woodside Road:

Marvin Armstrong and Dajon Golding gave Worthing a 2-0 lead at half time, before Golding doubled his tally for the afternoon to put the game beyond the visitor’s reach despite a consolation from James Baker.
