The loss was also Worthing’s first league defeat since the beginning of January when they lost 2-1 Carshalton Athletic – a unbeaten run which continued for 11 matches.

Meanwhile, hosts Potters Bar Town currently lie in 12th position having most recently defeated Margate 2-0 on Tuesday evening.

Recent meetings

Worthing have been dominant in recent affairs against tomorrow’s opponents having remained unbeaten in their last six meetings against Bar.

The two sides last met in the return fixture back in November at the Crucial Environmental Stadium:

First half goals from Jesse Starkey and Ollie Pearce were enough to see off Potters Bar 2-1 despite a second half strike from Kazaiah Sterling which halved the deficit.
