The Reds faced Brighton & Hove Albion under-23s in a behind-closed-doors friendly at the Seagulls’ training complex earlier this evening:
Lewis White put Worthing a goal ahead at the interval, before the Seagulls equalised in the second period to make the score 1-1 at full-time.
Meanwhile, hosts Selsey are commencing their pre-season tomorrow afternoon, having finished eighth in the Southern Combination Division One last campaign.
The two sides met in a pre-season friendly last year, also at the Bunn Leisure Stadium:
Three second half goals saw the Reds win 3-0 curtesy of goals from Frankie Perry and a brace from Shaq Gwengue.
