The Reds faced Brighton & Hove Albion under-23s in a behind-closed-doors friendly at the Seagulls’ training complex earlier this evening:

Lewis White put Worthing a goal ahead at the interval, before the Seagulls equalised in the second period to make the score 1-1 at full-time.

Meanwhile, hosts Selsey are commencing their pre-season tomorrow afternoon, having finished eighth in the Southern Combination Division One last campaign.

Recent meetings

The two sides met in a pre-season friendly last year, also at the Bunn Leisure Stadium:

Three second half goals saw the Reds win 3-0 curtesy of goals from Frankie Perry and a brace from Shaq Gwengue.

By Car – Driving south from the A27 on the B2145, continue into the town until you reach a set of traffic lights. Turn right at the lights and into the CO OP supermarket car park. The ground is found at the top left of the car park.

By Rail/Bus – Get the train from Worthing to Chichester, followed by the 51 bus from the stagecoach bus stop on the opposite side of the road to Selsey. Depart on the high street.
