This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring sports journalist or anyone looking to gain valuable experience in a football environment. The ideal role for students currently undertaking a sports media/journalism course, or similar, at either college or university level.

As we embark on our first ever season in the National League South it is an exciting time to be involved with the club.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Posting updates to the club’s various social media channels
• Providing live match updates for the men’s team.
• Producing written content for the club website

The ideal candidate will have excellent written communication skills and a strong understanding of social media and the football media industry.

The successful candidate will gain experience in how to manage expectations, meet deadlines and work as a team to produce content of a high standard.

As a community club we’re unable to offer a salary for this position, duties to be carried out on a voluntary basis – however the role provides invaluable experience for individuals passionate about a career in sports media.

Many previous incumbents of the role have progressed into full time roles within the industry.

Travel and entry to matches will be arrange on your behalf and club attire provided.
