By way of a follow up to the club’s commitment to the Footballing Communities, Fan Behaviour and Safety Initiative, we wanted to reassure all Worthing Football Club supporters that we continue to review and evolve our existing policies to ensure everyone, both home and away supporters, have a safe and enjoyable match day experience.

To reiterate, we always expect supporters to be well behaved, but we know on occasion, there will be a small minority who won’t conform. Our measures are designed to mitigate this disruption and help manage the safety and security of all supporters.

All our home games will incorporate additional security measures in both equipment and personnel and may on occasion incorporate a full segregation policy.

Decisions on the extent of the security measures will be made on a game by game basis, following consultation with key advisory groups including the away club, the Surrey and Sussex police Football Unit, Pubwatch UK, the National League and other agencies where appropriate.

We are pleased to be partnering with Pubwatch UK, helping to create and sustain safe, secure and social drinking environments for all supporters. Anyone currently listed on Pubwatch will be denied access to the ground.
