Splatt joins from Isthmian League South East Division Whitehawk where he struck 19 times in a productive campaign last time out, despite his team only narrowly avoiding relegation.
Previously, the 21-year-old gained experience of National League South during a spell at Tonbridge Angels, making 12 appearance during 2020-21.
He began his career as part of a successful Dulwich Hamlet youth team where his performances caught the eye of Derby County and he was snapped up by the Rams academy, however he was released in 2020.
Thompson joins as a free agent having also most recently played for Whitehawk.
The 28-year-old ended last season with the Hawks but netted 6 times for Margate at the beginning of the campaign.
A successful spell at Hampton & Richmond Borough as a 16-year-old earned him a scholarship at Portsmouth where he made just one first team appearance before eventually returning to the Beavers.
The well travelled front man has had numerous clubs since, including Sussex rivals Bognor Regis Town and Burgess Hill Town.
Both players have been registered in time for tomorrow’s National League South fixture at St Albans City.
