The Reds go into the fixture having maintained their unbeaten start to the season with a 1-1 draw at Hemel Hempstead Town on Saturday afternoon.
Nahum Melvin-Lambert put the hosts ahead from the penalty spot in the 29th minute, however an Ollie Pearce strike nineteen minutes from time salvaged a point for the Rebels, keeping in third placed after nine games.
Form
Rangers started the season with two single goal victories over Hungerford and Taunton but are winless in their last six, losing the last five in a row. The latest of which a 4-2 defeat at home to Eastbourne Borough on Saturday leaves them in 20th place, two points above the relegation zone.
By contrast Adam Hinshelwood’s team remain unbeaten as the surprise package of the division so far, with their away record particularly impressive.
Saturday’s draw at Vauxhall Road was the first time they’d failed to win an away match all season, winning the previous five against Welling United, Weymouth, Dartford and St Albans in the league, as well as the FA Cup triumph at Slough Town.
Previous Meetings
The fixture is the first ever competitive meeting of the two clubs.
Player to Watch
Long time Rebels supporters will recognise Concord forward Ben Williamson. The 33-year-old had a successful spell at Woodside Road early in his career that eventually earned a move to the Football League via the Glenn Hoddle Academy. He went on to spend time at Bournemouth, Port Vale, Gillingham and Cambridge United.
