The fixture comes a week after a busy period for the Reds, having played two games in as many days on bank holiday weekend:
On Saturday, they travelled to Kent to face Dartford for the first time since 2009, and fell behind in the ninth minute with Tom Bonner nodding in for the hosts.
Having gone into half time 1-0 down, Callum Kealy drew Worthing level just six minutes into the second period.
With the game looking to end a stalemate, a corner eventually fell to the feet of Joel Colbran, who chipped the ball over a helpless Jack Young to take all three points back to the south cost.
Two days later, Worthing played host to Sussex rivals Eastbourne Borough at the Crucial Environmental Stadium:
James Hammond put ‘Boro 1-0 up and looked to have scored the only goal of the game, but Kealy’s equaliser in the 88th shared the spoils and kept the Red’s unbeaten start to the season entact.
Recent meetings
The two sides last met in the second qualifying round of the 2019/20 FA Cup:
First at Clarence Park, Worthing looked to be heading out of the competition, losing 2-1 to the Saints.
However, deep in injury time, Reece Meekums turned and shot low past the keeper to equalise and force the tie to a replay at Woodside Road three days later:
A riled-up Saints side brushed Worthing aside in the replay, cruising to a 3-0 lead at the interval with Jalen Jones scoring a consolation for the hosts in injury time.
