Thompson is yet to feature for the Reds having signed in early September. Already working his way back to match fitness he suffered a calf injury which has set him back so he heads to the Chats to get valuable game time.

Bobomurodov secured a deal with the club after impressing in pre-season and started the opening game of the season against Dover Athletic. Despite being in and out of Adam Hinshelwood’s matchday squad since he remains part of the manager’s plans however the deal with the Isthmian League outfit will allow him to boost his sharpness for when he comes back into the fold.

“Nods started a few games early part of the season, but hasn’t had as many minutes lately, it’s just a case of getting him some game time so that when he does get his opportunity with us again he’s match sharp”.
