Ollie Pearce opened the scoring from the penalty spot after winning the penalty himself just after 10 minutes.
The striker was then forced off early with an injury sustained in the penalty incident.
Ibby Akanbi doubled the lead in the 43rd minute as he cut inside onto his right foot and curled in.
But, an inspired hattrick by Ross Stearn, including two from the spot, helped the Peacocks complete a comeback win.
Meanwhile, the Rebels’ hosts picked up a vital three points at the weekend to keep their survival hopes alive by beating Bath City 2-1.
