He launched his “Ravi’s Dream” campaign in late 2022 with a star-studded charity cover of “A Million Dreams” – the song and video featured the likes of Hugh Jackman, Mary Berry, Coldplay, Bastille, Paloma Faith, Metronomy, Damon Albarn, De La Soul and many more.
Over £76,000 has been raised so far, but Ravi will not give up until he reaches his dream!
To this end, Worthing FC and Preston Park Panthers are hosting a day of community football fun on June 11th. There will be a 7-a-side Under 8’s tournament to kick the day off at 10am and then a mixed women’s and men’s match featuring Jimi Famurewa (Masterchef), Romy Madley Croft (The xx), Seye Adelekan (Gorillaz), Joseph Mount (Metronomy), singer Denai Moore, Sam Tarry MP and more to be announced in the coming weeks.
Tickets are £5 for adults, £2 for under 16s and £10 for a family of 4. Come one, come all!
