The 22-year-old left Woodside Road for Wiltshire in the summer of 2021 and his made debut as a late substitute in the Robins 2-1 defeat at Carlisle on 14 August.
Later that year he had a hugely successful loan spell in National League South with Chippenham where he netted 7 times in 13 appearances during a two month period.
He returned to the County Ground at the beginning of 2022, managing to force his way into the starting eleven by mid February, scoring twice in the 5-0 win over Walsall. He went on to make 16 appearances as the Robins secured a play-off place in League Two.
A host of managerial changes at the club in the last 12 months has seen Aguiar’s playing time severely limited, making just one start in League Two last season.
In his first spell with the Reds he amassed 95 appearances having made his debut in 2018, aged just 17.
The gifted midfielder went on to win both the Manager’s Player of the Season and Players’ Player of the Season awards in 2018/19, before retaining Manager’s Player once again in 2019/20.
