The 20-year-old made 17 appearances after signing on loan in January for the rest of the season having scored a hat-trick against the Reds for Hampton & Richmond Borough on Boxing Day, just a few weeks earlier.

He endeared himself to the Worthing faithful immediately with a goal on his debut, to help set up the win at Sussex rivals Eastbourne Borough.

It was his cross that forced Braintree Town ‘keeper Jack Sims to fumble the ball into his own net during the play-off eliminator, on a memorable night at Woodside Road in early May.

His final appearance came as a substitute in the Sussex Senior Cup final with Bognor Regis Town, netting a penalty in the shoot-out victory.
