Following planning consent, we have recently pushed forward with various designs, work specifications, work scheduling and competitive tenders from contractors. 

The new covered stand will span 50-meters behind the goal, re-introduce some compliant tiered levels and will provide a free view of the pitch without any front-post obstructions. Steel and other materials have been ordered with a target project completion date of the end of March 2024. 

Keith Mitchell, the club’s General Manager commented, ” This is a necessary upgrade to provide more covered terracing in the ground. We had some planning constraints on height to work with neighbours, much like the previous older stand. But overall, this will be a marked upgrade aimed at improving our supporter experience.”

Keith added:

“We want to thank our supporters for their patience. We would like to have delivered this project earlier but have taken more time to ensure we make the best decisions around design, cost and contracting parties.
