The current Maidstone United is a phoenix club formed after the original club of that name went into liquidation in 1992 while members of the Football League.

We first played the current Maidstone United on 17th December 2011, when the Isthmian League Division 1 South match finished 5-1 to us at Woodside Road; Mike Huckett scored twice and our other goals were scored by Tom Manton, Luke Gedling and Steve Davies.

That score-line is our largest winning margin in these encounters and was replicated in the latest meeting, when we won the home National League South fixture on 16th December this season.

Earlier this season, on 23rd September, Maidstone recorded their biggest victory over us, when they won the league fixture in Kent by 4-0.

The away Isthmian Division 1 South fixture in 2012-13 was a new experience for us, being the first time we had played a competitive match on an artificial surface.

We have met once in a knock-out competition, Maidstone triumphing 2-0 last season in an FA Trophy tie.

Our complete record in matches against Maidstone United is summarised in the following table:

National League South 2 1 0 1 5 5
Isthmian League Div 1 South 4 2 2 0 9 3
