Saturday 1st June – Seniors Tournament
We are pleased to announce that Worthing FC Seniors are hosting a Festival of Walking Football with an Over 50s and 60s Tournament with 24 Teams Competing for both a Cup and Plate in each age group.
Saturday 1st June – Gates open at 10am with kick-off at 10.45am and the event will finish at around 4.15pm. The Stand Bar will be open from 12pm.
Pop along and see what all the hype is regarding Walking Football. We have 44 local Players playing for us at Seniors so you may recognise one or two. We will also be running a Raffle with some great prizes… We look forward to seeing you there!
Saturday 8th June – Teresa Curnow ‘Martlets Hospice’ Charity Match
Everyone is welcome to come along on the 8th June to enjoy some good football and support Martlets Hospice Charity as Fishersgate Flyers Vets take on Fishersgate Martlets Vets in a battle for the Teresa Curnow Trophy. Kick-off 2pm.
Entry is just £3 for adults and £1 for U16s while U5s go free. CASH ONLY!
Sunday 16th June – Metrobus Tournament
We’re pleased to welcome Metrobus as they host their in-house football tournament at the Sussex Transport Community Stadium. The event starts at 11am.
It’s set to be a fun-filled family day with a bouncy castle fan zone for families to enjoy a day out in the sun. Entry is FREE!
Saturday 22nd June – Joshua Giles Charity Football Match
The Stand Bar will be open while the Charity Football Match takes place at the Sussex Transport Community Stadium. Feel free to come along! Kick-off 1pm.
Sunday 23rd June – Jadey’s Charity Football Match
Worthing FC are pleased to welcome back Jadey’s Charity Match in loving memory of Gary Townsend. The event will be raising money for the charity Forward Facing.
Forward Facing is a charity that provides activities and events for families suffering long-term illness and bereavement in the Sussex area. Our events come in all shapes and sizes. We put on small events that focus on individual families, medium-sized events for small groups and large events to which all our families are invited.
Their mission is to provide fun activities that make our families happy. We want our children to have special, unique experiences, where their confidence can grow, where their carers & families can relax and most importantly where they can make some really special memories.
