The back-to-back Young Player of the Year commits to the Rebels for the 2024/25 season. Katie joined the club in 2021 from Lewes. The young defender has made 82 appearances for the Rebels, the versatile defender that can play either centrally or as a fullback in the Rebels back line. Young’s wide range of pass allows her to be an attacking threat from deep. Young has had a successful career at Worthing claiming the LSERWFL title and LSERWFL League Cup during the 2022/23 campaign, furthermore Katie Young has won back-to-back Young Player of the Year Awards for the past 2 seasons.

She commented “I’m happy I’ve decided to do another season at Worthing. Since I’ve been here I’ve grown as a player every season and feel another season here will benefit me. It’s going to be tough but exciting and I can’t wait to get started with all the girls!”
