The new season’s preparations began three weeks ago for the squad. Last Friday, they kicked off their pre-season schedule with a friendly against Brighton & Hove Albion U21s at the Amex Elite Performance Centre.

The match, which was played behind closed doors, provided Chris Agutter’s squad with some useful minutes, with each player playing at least a half each in a 3-0 defeat.

Tomorrow, they take on Isthmian Premier Division newcomers Chichester City at Oaklands Park. The Lilywhites finished 5th in the Isthmian South East Division last term and beat 2nd placed Ramsgate to advance to the Play-Off Final where they emphatically beat Three Bridges 5-0 to earn promotion.

The most recent meeting between the sides was in a friendly back in December 2020, during the pandemic-affected season. It was a closely contested affair that ended 2-2.

Supporter Information

For supporters planning to travel to Oaklands Park this weekend, please be warned that the Goodwood Festival of Speed is taking place nearby, so it might be worth considering leaving earlier to allow time for any delays in the area.

The ground is located very close to Chichester Festival Theatre, about a 5-minute walk from the City Centre. The railway station is about a 10-15 minute walk and the ground is adjacent to a very large pay and display car park.
