The forward has spent the past 4 season out in America playing for College of Saint Rose and Laramie Community College.
Before going to College in America Lauren played for a number of clubs in England which included the likes of Crystal Palace, Lewes and Saltdean. Amerena also represented Sussex during this time.
Lauren then decided to make the move to America and join Laramie Community College, she would only spend one year in Wyoming. During her time there the forward would make 18 appearances starting 16 of then as a freshman, Amerena found the back of the net eight times during this season alongside setting up five goals. Amernea was a Two-time United Soccer Coaches NJCAA All-American and First-team All-Region XI.
Lauren is young and very passionate player and that is contagious, she will give everything in every session and games. With time she will improve more and more and will be a great addition for us.
Jesus Cordon
After her debut season in America Lauren made the move to New York to play for College of Saint Rose. She would spend her final 3 years of college in the big apple. In her first season Lauren would make 23 appearances and tallied five goals and 8 assists. She was also Honored as the Most Outstanding Player of the NE10 Championship after recording two goals and three assists across the conference postseason tournament and named to the NE10 Academic Honor Roll for the fall and spring semesters.
Her Honors would continue into her second season at Saint Rose as she was Selected third-team All-American by the United Soccer Coaches Association. Furthermore Amerena was named a first-team All-East Region honoree by the D2CCA and United Soccer Coaches also she E]earned first-team All-Northeast-10 Conference accolades. She played 20 games achieving 6 goals and 7 assists.
In her final season at Saint Rose Lauren made 21 appearances scoring two goals and creating three goals.
Lauren commented on her move to Woodside “I’m really excited to join this ambitious club, it’s very competitive and healthy environment. The girls have been extremely welcoming and I’m really looking forward to this season with JC and the girls”
