Jesus Cordon brings in young defender Izzy Franklin as his eighth summer signing ahead of the 2024/25 season

Franklin joins the Rebels alongside playing for London City Lionesses U21. Despite being young the defender brings senior experience having played for Crawley Wasps, Dulwich Hamlet

During her time at Crawley, Izzy made 19 appearances in the FAWNL Southern Premier Divsion

The following season Franklin moved to Dulwich Hamlet where she would make 3 appearances

I know Izzy from previous clubs! I know is the CB that suit us! She is very good in possession and have a great range of pass! I am sure she will grow during the season and will be a very important player

In the 23/24 season Izzy made the move to Haywards Heath, during the campaign Franklin made 13 appearances while working alongside current boss Jesus Cordon

Franklin commented on her move to Woodside “I’m really looking forward to this season with the team and ready to take on the different league.”
