Our fixture on Saturday 5th October against Maidstone United and against Welling on Tuesday 8th October will see the first phase opening of our new North Stand.

This phase will provide home fans with access to half of the stand, from the west end of the ground down to the centre of the stand. Temporary catering and toilet facilities will be available in the N-W corner of the ground whilst work to the new N-W kiosk is completed.

Subject to a successful and compliant Phase 1, the other half together with the N-W kiosk, will open as part of phase 2, expected two weeks later for our fixture against Tonbridge Angels on Saturday 19th October.

Work will also continue over this period to complete necessary drainage works behind the stand, which were slowed down due to recent wet weather.

On Saturday, Maidstone United fans will be segregated into the open East terrace and will exclusively enter and leave the ground from the N-E turnstiles, with exclusive use of the N-E supporter kiosk.

Because of the segregation, home supporters will not have use of the N-E turnstiles or access through the east terrace and will need to enter and exit through the central-east turnstiles.

This phase 1 will provide a ground capacity of 2,950 which will grow to over 4,000 with the completion of phase 2.

As part of our forward compliance with safe capacity, the walkway in front of the south stand cannot be used to view the game. Stewards will patrol this area to ensure it is clear for access at all times.

Chief Operating Officer Keith Mitchell commented, “Getting the stand built is one challenge, but ensuring it is operationally sound, safe and compliant is vital and we are working with the authorities to navigate us through this mobilisation period. We thank supporters for their continued patience. For those supporters using the new north stand, we know they are going to enjoy a great new view and upgraded fan experience”.
