Chris Agutter’s side stretched their unbeaten run to seven matches in the National League South with a 1-0 home win over Weymouth on Saturday afternoon, courtesy of a first half goal from Temi Babalola.
Despite claiming all three points, the Worthing boss was left frustrated with the number of chances wasted on Saturday and has challenged his team to be more consistent in the final third.
Results were favourable for the Rebels on Saturday, with four of the six teams above them dropping points. Worthing remain 7th in the league table, with games in hand over five of the six teams above them in the table. A victory tonight could see them go level on points with 2nd place.
Team News
Saturday saw debuts for two new signings, Ruben Carvalho and Odei Martin Sorondo as they both came on as second-half substitutes. Both players are in contention to make their full debuts in tonight’s match.
It remains to be seen whether Tommy Willard can feature, as he recovers from a thigh injury sustained in November.
View from the Camp – Chris Agutter
“We’ve got two tough away days coming up. Tuesday nights have been very good for us on the road. I think we’ve been very good and our record on a Tuesday night away from home has been very good.
“We look forward to the challenge. We go into every game with the attitude of attacking it, on the front foot and not taking a backwards step. In possession, out of possession, we go after the opposition.
“There’s going to be a lot of pressure and a lot of emotion going into these next few games, but it’s what we do it for and it’s exciting.”
The Opposition
The Bluebirds are currently 16th in the National League South, with 32 points from 26 matches this season. They have an impressive away record, having picked up 21 of their 32 points on the road.
Their form of late has been indifferent, with two wins, one draw and three defeats in their last six matches. Salisbury were their opponents last time out as they fell to a 1-0 defeat at home.

Travel & Parking
Address: Hardenhuish Park, Bristol Rd, Chippenham SN14 6LR
By Road: Leave the M4 at Junction 17 and take the A350 towards Chippenham. After around two and a half miles you will reach a roundabout (where there is a services area on one side). Take the first exit at the roundabout onto the B4158 towards the town centre. At the next set of traffic lights turn right onto Hardenhuish Lane. At the bottom of Hardenhuish Lane, you will reach a double mini roundabout, where at the first roundabout you take the first exit onto Bristol Road (signposted Town Centre). After a quarter of a mile, you will reach a small car park on your left (look out for the blue Chippenham Town FC welcome sign). Just after the car park, there is the entrance road to the Sports and Football Club.
There is no car parking available at the Club itself. There is the small car park which is mentioned above, that is free, otherwise street parking.
By Rail: Chippenham Railway Station is located around three-quarters of a mile away from Hardenhuish Park and takes about 15 minutes to walk. The station is served by trains from London Paddington, Bristol Temple Meads, Southampton and Cheltenham Spa. Exit the platform using the tall uncovered steps at the far end of the station. Turn right at the top, cross the lines and as you go down the steps leaving the station, you need to walk straight ahead into Union Road. At the end of this road turn left into New Road, and with the railway bridge on your left, cross New Road at the traffic lights. Once you’ve crossed the road you go straight on (the A 420 signposted Bristol East.). Keep straight on this road for around half a mile and shortly after it becomes Bristol Road, you will reach the ground entrance road on your right (look out for a small car park and Chippenham Sports/Football Club welcome signs at the entrance).
