The Rebels will be feeling refreshed after an unexpected week off following the postponement of their trip to Hornchurch last weekend.

Chris Agutter’s side have been in good form in the National League South, having taken 14 points out of a possible 18 over the festive period.

They remain in the play-off places despite last week’s postponement, with the Rebels currently 7th with games in hand over five of the six teams above them.

Team News

Chris Agutter admitted that the week off benefitted the Rebels will a lot of players carrying knocks in the squad.

It remains to be seen whether Tommy Willard can feature, as he recovers from a thigh injury.

View from the Camp – Chris Agutter

“I think the week off has benefitted the players. We’ve been pretty busy over the festive period, played a lot of football and we don’t have the biggest squad – it’s probably worked out quite well.

“We’ve hit the turn of the year and we’re in the title race, so it’s exciting. We’re enjoying the ride. If we’d have been given this situation at the start of this season, I wouldn’t have snapped your hand off because I always want more, but we’re right in amongst it.

“It was one of our toughest games down at their place. They’ve obviously changed manager and I think they’ve had a bit of a new manager bounce looking at their recent performances as well.”

“We are going to continue to find that consistency” – Agutter
