Both teams beat Old Varndenians in the final to secure the trophies. Carl Etherington and Ricky Dumbrell netted in a 2-1 victory for the Over 50s while Neil Flockton, Duncan Moore and Andy Benn were the goalscorers for the Over 60s side as they triumphed 3-1 at Lancing FC.

On the weekend, another tournament involving the two sides took place at Woodside Road.  The Over 50s beat South East England Rep B side on penalties while the Over 60s lost to Godalming in a spot-kick showdown.

Meanwhile, the Over 60s Gold won the Fair Play Trophy chosen by the officials.

Peter Bow, photographed above sporting the goalkeeping kit, was recognised for his volunteering work by the Walking Football Association (WFA) at the event. Andy Kille, the Chairman of the WFA, awarded Pete for his services, which involved introducing several people to the sport in the South Coast of England.
