The Rebels commenced the new season in exhilarating fashion, as they edged out Portishead Town away from home in a nine-goal thriller.

Jasmine Smith netted a brace on her competitve debut, while Lauren Amerena also scored twice and struck a late winner to claim a 5-4 victory. Just hours after being announced as a new signing, Fulham loanee Jacqui Goldsmid saved a penalty and also produced several impressive stops.

Jesus Cordon’s embark on their FA Women’s National League Cup journey on Wednesday evening, as we host Brighton U21’s at the Sussex Transport Community Stadium.
