Ella made her second debut for the Club on the weekend, as she started in our 2-0 defeat away to Marine Academy (Plymouth) in the FA Women’s National League Division One West.

Fellow new signing Erin has been training with the team in recent times and will inject some depth and firepower into our wide areas. She joins the Rebels after a spell with Moneyfields and also made her debut for the Club on the weekend, coming off the bench as a second-half substitute.

Like several members of our squad, Erin has spent time in the United States to aid her development, while also appearing for AFC Wimbledon.

Ella is a tenacious winger who is a fast and tactically intelligent player and is back for a second spell at the Sussex Transport Community Stadium. Our new addition has also worked with Manager Jesus Cordon before at Lewes FC Women and the pair have rekindled their association in West Sussex.

She was scouted at the age of nine by Brighton & Hove Albion and after three seasons moved to her local team Eastbourne Borough.

It was here that she flourished and scored 112 goals in her time which helped her side to two league titles. At 16 she made the move across to Lewes FC as part of their pathway programme and in March 2019 made her debut for the First Team against Durham in the WSL 2.  At  the start of the 2019/20 Season she made the move state side to play and study at Eastern Florida State College who were Regional Champions and South East District champions. Ella recently enjoyed a stint at Fulham Women.

JC on Ella’s signing: “It’s great to have Ella back! She is a player that I know from my time at Lewes and I know that she can give us a lot, so we’re all really happy to have her back.”

JC on Erin’s move: “Erin is a young player with a lot of ambition, she understands the game well and what we are looking for. She is great addition to our squad.

Welcome, Ella and Erin!
