The trio have all joined up with squad over the last few weeks and have all since made their competitive bows for the Rebels.

Goalkeeper Ella Hunkin joined up with the squad last month and made her debut in our first league home match of the season against Bournemouth Sports. Since then, the shot-stopper has made four appearances for the Rebels between the sticks.

Midfielders Taylor and Megan are both yet to start a game for their new club, but have featured off the bench. The latter has played for multiple teams in the local area, including Lewes, Newhaven and Saltdean.

After welcoming some new personnel to his roster, Women’s First-Team Manager Jesus Cordon commented on all three of his arrivals.

On Megan’s arrival, JC said: “We’re delighted to welcome Megan to the team. She has a difficult start with some injuries but she is back now and it will give us a bit of experience and quality of midfield that we really need.”

On Ella’s signing: “Ella is another great character for us, she needs a bit of consistency playing and I am sure we will see her best soon! We are very pleased to have her with us at Worthing Football Club.”

On Taylor joining up: “Taylor is a fantastic character to have in the team. She has to improve but she has the right mindset to do it and is putting the work in so I am sure she will help us during the season.”

Ella is our new number one between the sticks, while Taylor has chosen the number 12 and Megan has picked the number 14. All three

Welcome to Worthing, Ella, Taylor and Megan!
