Following a pitch inspection conducted this morning, the surface was deemed unplayable as a result of the torrential downpour from Storm Bram.

A yellow weather warning was issued yesterday afternoon by the Met Office, as the heavy rain and potential flooding brought possible “danger to life”. With the sheer amount of rainfall that has already occurred around the Weston-super-Mare area, and the amount that is forecasted to fall between now and kick-off,  the pitch has been deemed unable to be used in a safe manner by both sets of players.

The match will now be rescheduled, with an announcement on a rearranged date set to be revealed in due course.
