He went on to become First Team Manager at Billingshurst, before experiencing a short spell in charge at Loxwood.
Simmons returned to The Bodymould Mattresses Stadium initially as Under 23 Coach, which was the perfect preparation for him to earn his stripes and prove his credentials for the First-Team role.
