The fixture comes seven days after Worthing exited the FA Cup in the third qualifying round at home to Eastbourne Borough:

Lewis White curled the Reds ahead with a sublime finish in the 23rd minute, but 10 later, Shiloh Remy equalised for Boro to send the sides into the break level.

On the hour mark, Leone Gravata put the visitors ahead and subsequently into the hat for the fourth qualifying round, with Worthing unable to find a reply.

Meanwhile, Farnborough managed to progress to the final qualifying stage of the same competition last weekend, thumping Swindon Supermarine by five goals to one.

They have found league wins harder to come by so far this season and find themselves just inside the relegation zone currently having tasted victory just twice in National League South.

Form

As they are all season in the league the Reds are unbeaten in their last six, winning three and drawing three. The last home league outing saw a thrilling come from behind win over Cheshunt which was proceeded by two draws on the road at Hemel Hemstead Town and Concord Rangers.

Farnborough arrive at the Crucial Environmental Stadium off the back of three consecutive defeats in National League South, with their single goal victory over Cheshunt at the beginning of September the only time they’ve picked up points in their last six league outings.

Worn both shirts

Former AFC Wimbledon academy forward Callum Overton played for both of tomorrow afternoon’s sides. Now with Chichester City, Overton appeared several times in Worthing’s playoff-winning season of 2015-16, before turning out for Farnborough midway through the following season.
