Chima links up with Hinshelwood’s squad after a spell with Canadian Premier League side Cavalry FC where he made 13 appearances and was part of the side that won the Canadian Premier League Shield before departing in the summer.

The central defender spent his youth at Burnley’s academy, before signing with Queen of the South of Scottish League One in 2021. Chima has international experience at youth level, having appeared for the Nigeria U19 National Team.

The 21-year-old is available for selection in Worthing’s Vanarama National League South match against St Albans City later today.
